The Barbados Football Association (BFA) was founded in 1910
and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2010.
Counselor Shawn Springer from Men Empowerment Network Support (MENS) joined the Barbados Football Association (BFA) and the National Peace Program (NPP) at the community football hub of the Ivy last week where he facilitated an interactive session with local boys and girls.
He used football activities to help them to understand the power of effective communication, problem solving, body language, self-expression, and conflict resolution.
This is the second session in a series of sessions designed to engage and empower young people that will be rolled out to all BFA NPP community hubs.
